Lost Highwaymen

Open Mic at LaKae’s

September 2nd, 2010

Portland Casual Jam’s open mic night at LaKae’s 99E — the new music club run by our friends Larry and Kae!

For those looking for something more than a jam session, and who want to present a more polished presentation, we offer a weekly open mic night, complete with host band and accompanists!

Every Sunday, from 6 ’till 10, at LaKae’s 99E — 13456 SE McLoughlin Blvd, Milwaukie, Oregon. Directly across from the Bomber, and so easy to find!

The Lost Highwaymen will be the host band for your open mic night experience. Sign up as an individual or duet for a 3-song set (or approximately 10 minutes, for 2 long jammin’ songs), or sign up with your full band and rock the stage with a 5-song extravaganza!

If you don’t want to rock the mic yourself, you can sign up for the ‘Orchestra Pit’ and list yourself as an accompanist! Help out your friends by signing up to play bass, or drums, or sax for their set!

If you want to sign up to sing, make sure to bring cheat sheets for a recognizable song with lyrics and chords, and the host band will do its very best to back you up! Or better yet, grab some friends over the week and polish up your song, and then rock the stage and amaze your friends on Sundays!

Bring your friends, your family, your co-workers and your neighbours, and show ‘em all your inner rock star!
